COURSE RESERVATIONS – Bookings are offered on a flexible basis and where available, dates and times to suit the clients’ requirements. Once a booking has been agreed, Pass Point Training Ltd will make arrangements for the provision of facilities, Instructors and materials. Any alterations made to the original booking may incur an additional administration cost. Where a group booking is made, all candidates must attend the same course.
COURSE BOOKING REQUIREMENTS – A deposit of 50% is required to secure your booking and chosen course dates. Your booking is not confirmed until payment has been received. The confirmation invoice and course booking letter will be sent to you by email or post. Any variances should be brought to our attention within 48 hours in writing to allow any amendments. Full and final payment is required prior to the start of the course.
COURSE FEES – Pass Point Training Ltd reserves the right to alter any course fees at any time. This will not affect those who have booked a course and have paid the required deposit.
PAYMENT METHODS – Payments can be made either by Cash, Cheques or Bank Transfer. Pass Point Training Ltd also accepts payment via PayPal. Please contact us direct for further information.
Under the terms of the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1988, Pass Point Training Ltd reserve the right to charge interest on overdue accounts. Interest will be charged on overdue invoices at Base Rate plus 8%. Goods / Certificates will be dispatched once payment has been received and cleared.
COURSE AMENDMENTS BY YOU– Occasionally, we understand candidates may require changes to their bookings. Pass Point Training Ltd will endeavour to accommodate the changes and offer alternative dates if reasonable notice (a minimum of 14 days) is given, as logistical considerations will have to be dealt with, for which we reserve the right to charge an administration fee of £25. Where a candidate or customer decides to cancel completely, Pass Point Training Ltd reserves the right to charge a penalty as detailed below. All alterations or cancellations should be in writing. Where a candidate fails to attend at the agreed time, this will be treated as a cancellation and subject to full invoice charge.
NOTICE OF CANCELLATIONS:
4 weeks or less – 50% / Loss of deposit
2 weeks or less – 75% of total course fees payable
1 week or less – 100% of total course fees payable
COURSE AMENDMENTS BY US – The likelihood of Pass Point Training Ltd being forced to alter or cancel your booking is uncommon. However, in an unlikely event, we will rearrange for a date to suit both parties. In the case of a change in arrangements, we will always ensure that the standard of any replacement is the equivalent. We cannot be held responsible for any consequential loss in these cases.
CANDIDATE SUBSTITUTION – It is acceptable to substitute suitable candidates for booked courses, if required. If you are able to notify us of the change prior to the course date, it is appreciated.
SUITABILITY – It is your responsibility to ensure that you, or your nominated candidates, are suitable for the booked course. We embrace inclusively and try and adapt our training to accommodate everybody. However, people can be mentally or physically incapable of applying practical skills and, in these cases, would fail the course e.g. faint at the sight of blood / unable to complete floor based skills.
ELIGIBILITY – Candidates must have a current and valid Level 3 – First Aid at Work Certificate to be eligible for a Level 3 Re-Qualification / Refresher course. We require a copy of this certificate before the course starts. If you, or your nominated candidates arrive on the first day and are ineligible, you will still be liable for the full cost of the course.
CERTIFICATION – Candidates are required to attend the full course and to pass any practical and/or theoretical assessments to earn their certification. Some courses are time based whilst others may be performance based. Candidates that do not achieve the required performance standard within the given time will fail the course. In the unlikely event that this happens we would be available to provide additional training, charged by the hour / exam fees, to enable candidates to achieve the required standard.
ALTERNATIVE VENUES – Training may be provided at your own facility providing it meets suitable criteria. Pass Point Training Ltd may wish to see the training venue / area prior to the course date and will arrange a viewing time and date, alternatively, a Suitability Questionnaire / Risk Assessment will be sent to you for completion and must comply with Health & Safety Standards.
CANDIDATES TO BRING WITH THEM:
• If you are attending a Re-Qualification course, please bring your current and valid First Aid at Work certificate.
• Photographic Identification (e.g. Driving Licence, Passport, Work ID, Forces Card)
• Suitable comfortable clothing for First Aid courses – you will be asked to perform skills and lie on the floor to play the casualty in scenarios (therefore, skirts are not advisable!!!)
• Lunch provisions for all day courses
• Balance or payment of course where applicable
COURSE TIMES – Most courses commence at 09:30 unless otherwise stated or requested. Candidates are requested to arrive 10 minutes prior to the course start time to ensure everyone registration is completed and the course is ready to commence on time.
REFRESHMENTS – Pass Point Training Ltd will provide light refreshments (drinks), unless otherwise stated or requested when held at our training facility. Candidates are requested to bring lunch with them, although there are mobile snack vehicles which visit our own venue at lunchtime, which candidates may purchase food and drink (only available Monday to Friday). There are also other food outlets available just a short distance from site.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS – Candidates must be able to pass all course practical and theory assessments in English. If a learner has any special requirements or requires an assessment paper in an alternative language where available, please advise at the time of booking or as soon as possible, any special requirements may require prior approval with our Awarding Organisation or Ofqual.
SUGGESTIONS OR COMPLAINTS – In the unlikely event of you being dissatisfied with your course, we would ask you to inform your instructor or Centre Manager immediately, so that the matter can be addressed and dealt with at the earliest opportunity.
DATA PROTECTION – Pass Point Training Ltd complies with the Data Protection Act 1998 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 and has a relevant Data Policy in place.
DISCLAIMER – Pass Point Training Ltd provides training to a professional standard to enable candidates to give first aid and to protect themselves whilst doing so. This training doesn’t make candidates into medical experts or invulnerable to injury and infection. We accept no liability whatsoever for the candidates’ health and well-being or that of any individuals they give first aid to, once candidates have finished their course.
FIRST AID & MEDICAL SUPPLIES
POSTAGE & PACKAGING – Charges will apply if you wish your items to be dispatched to you. We will endeavour to ensure the items are packed as safely and securely as possible. Collection of any orders must be arranged prior to collection.
DELIVERY – Please allow up to 10 working days for your delivery.
RETURNS POLICY – If you are not happy with your purchase, please return the complete item in its original condition within 14 days for a full refund.
PRICES – The prices shown on the website are inclusive of VAT. The prices shown on the website are exclusive of postage and packaging. P&P will be added to the cart before checkout. Payment in full must be made before goods are dispatched.

The quality of the product will still remain high, but colours and models may differ. Pass Point Training Ltd reserves the right to adjust the price and specification of any item on the website at its discretion.
INSTRUCTOR DAYRATE HIRE
DAYRATE – Pass Point Training Ltd have Instructors who are available for hire on a dayrate basis.
DAYRATE FEES – Payment must reach us no later than 7 days following completion of the event.
Payments can be made by Bank Transfer. Cheques are to be made payable to: Pass Point Training Limited (Late payments will be subject to standard bank interest rates – calculated by date and charged daily)
Please note that we reserve the right to change our prices and our terms and conditions with reasonable notice to clients.
FUEL COSTS – If Instructors have to travel using their own transport, Pass Point Training Ltd will charge mileage at a cost of £0.45p per mile
ACCOMMODATION – If Instructors are working away from home for more than one day, a daily charge of £75.00 will apply which includes hotel accommodation and subsistence.
AT YOUR LOCATION – Courses on client sites normally start at 09:30 however, should you decide you would like a course earlier or later, please let us know at the time of booking and we will do our best to ensure we can meet your requirements. Trainers usually arrive 30 minutes prior to course start time to set up the training room. Good time keeping is essential and students must attend the whole course in order to meet the required criteria. If a delegate fails to attend any part of the course they will not be assessed as competent by our Trainer.
RESERVATIONS – Provisional telephone bookings can only be held for 7 days pending written or email confirmation. If a booking is made at short notice (less than seven days before the course) then payment must be received immediately.
CANCELLATIONS – If the client cancels a course, they will be liable to a cancellation fee.
This is charged on the following sliding scale;
In the event of a cancellation the following terms apply:
• over two weeks’ notice (but less than four) (14 to 28 days) – 25% payable
• over one weeks’ notice (but less than two) (7 to 13 days) – 50% payable
• less than one weeks’ notice – 100% (full day rate) payable
We regret that complete fees will be payable if notice of cancellation is received less than 7 days prior to the course start date, or if the students fail to attend for whatever reason.
TRANSFERS – If the date of the course at your location is changed within 7 days of the start of the course, an administration charge of £50 will be incurred.

If a course has to be cancelled, amended or re-scheduled for any reason we will however make every reasonable effort to effect alternative arrangements.
Pass Point also offer first aid supplies to help you put your newly acquired skills from your first aid training into practice, we offer on-site first aid training as well as first aid courses at our own establishment.
